International Passenger Processing Facility, Tallahassee International Airport (TLH)
International Passenger Processing Facility, Tallahassee International Airport (TLH)
Project summary :
In order to establish itself as a gateway to destinations around the world as an international airport—and make Tallahassee a prime location for larger, international companies who require a portal to international trade—Tallahassee International Airport first needed to build an International Passenger Processing Facility, a home for U.S. Customs. We built this steel structure facility with composite floors, concrete masonry and metal stud walls, and sawtooth roof design—adhering to strict U.S. Customs and Border Protection technical design standards, all while the rest of the airport remained fully functional. The facility is expected to be completed and ready for service in 2024.
